Getting started with Vertiqa
Your first day in a new Vertiqa workspace — where you land, the core modules, and the first few things to set up.
Welcome to Vertiqa — one workspace for your customers, your work, and the AI agents that help you keep up. This guide orients a brand-new workspace: where you land, what each part of the app is for, and the first few things worth doing.
Where you land
Vertiqa has two experience modes over the same data:
- Full — the complete workspace: lists, detail pages, settings, and reporting. On a computer you start here, on the Dashboard.
- Simple — a focused daily assistant: Today, Inbox, People, and Deals. On a phone you start here, on the Today page.
It's the same workspace either way — Simple is a streamlined lens, not a separate product. Use the mode switch to move between them; your choice is remembered.
The core modules
A new workspace comes with Vertiqa's cross-industry core. The left nav groups them:
- CRM — the people and companies you work with. Start with accounts, and see how accounts, contacts, and locations relate, then work deals on the opportunities pipeline.
- Scheduling — meetings you book directly and booking links others use to grab a time.
- Projects & tasks — delivery work, organized into projects.
- Commercial — estimates and invoices, and how the two relate.
- Goals — agentic goals that watch your CRM and propose the next move.
- HR — a lightweight people directory, time off, and balances.
- Business cards — shareable digital cards and email signatures.
- Documents — your shared file library.
You may not need every module on day one — that's fine. Each has its own getting-started tour you can launch from the Help button when you open it.
Your first week
A sensible order for a brand-new workspace:
- Add a few accounts and contacts so the rest of the app has people to hang off.
- Connect your calendar (Settings → Calendar) so Scheduling can offer your real availability.
- Invite your team and set permissions in Settings — what each person can see and do.
- Create your business card so you have something to share right away.
- Skim the Dashboard to learn where each number lives.
Don't try to do it all at once. Add data as real work comes in; the workspace fills itself in as you use it.
Getting help
- The Help button (in the top bar) opens suggestions for whatever page you're on, plus a search box.
- Search across the app finds records, pages, and help.
- Most pages offer a short walkthrough from the Help panel — a guided tour of that screen's controls.
