A project is a body of work with a start, an end, and a set of tasks to deliver it. Every task in Vertiqa belongs to a project, so the projects page is where most delivery-side work begins.
What you can do here
- Search and sort the project list — by name, status, or any column you have visible.
- Create a project with a name, optional description, status, and optional start/due dates.
- See task progress at a glance — each row shows total tasks and completed tasks.
- Open a project to see its kanban board and add new tasks.
Statuses
- Planning — scoped but not actively working yet.
- Active — in flight.
- On hold — paused, will resume.
- Completed — delivered.
- Cancelled — abandoned, won't deliver.
Tips
- Set a due date even when it's a guess. A wrong due date is more useful than no due date — you can correct it once you learn more.
- Move stalled projects to on hold rather than leaving them as active. Active should mean someone is actually working it.
- Use completed vs cancelled honestly. Reporting and lessons- learned both depend on this distinction.
