Ask Vee about your work

What Vee can answer today — your day, your open deals, and finding the right record — and where to go for everything else.

Vee is built first for getting work done: you tell it what happened and it updates your records. It also answers a few questions directly, and it's honest when a question is outside what it can answer.

Your day

You don't have to ask — Vee Home opens on it. The greeting tells you how many things need you ("Morning, 3 things need you." or "You're clear for today."), and Needs you today lists the top items:

  • an overdue task — tap Mark done,
  • a missed call — tap Log call,
  • a new lead — tap Add note.

Each button only fills in the message box with a ready-made request (for example Log a call with Sam Patel:) so you can finish the sentence and send it. Nothing happens until you send and confirm.

Your open deals

Ask:

  • "Show me my open opportunities."
  • "Show me my open deals."

Vee tells you how many open deals you can see and lists the top 10 by value, each linked so you can open it.

Finding the right record

Every time you ask for a change, Vee looks up the record you mean — by name, invoice number, meeting title, or attendee. If more than one matches, it asks "Which person or record did you mean?" and shows the choices; if nothing matches, it asks for a more specific name. Vee only ever finds records you're allowed to see.

On a record's page, the right-rail Vee panel already knows which record you're on, so "add a note here" or "mark it won" needs no name.

Questions Vee doesn't answer yet

Vee doesn't summarize history or analyze your data — questions like "why did we lose the Acme deal?", "which estimates are going stale?" or "what's on my calendar tomorrow?" won't get a real answer today. For those:

  • Search (press /) finds any record by name.
  • The record's timeline shows what happened and when.
  • Meetings, Tasks, and Opportunities lists filter by date, owner, and status.
  • The Operations and Summary dashboard views (Full mode) show the numbers.

Honest answers only

Vee doesn't guess. If it can't answer, it says so rather than making something up, and it never shows you a record your role can't see — two people asking the same question can get different results.
