Dashboard
Your role-aware home view of pipeline, delivery, service, and the next actions that need you.
The dashboard is the home page of Vertiqa — a live, role-aware overview pulled from the kernel so you can see where things stand without drilling into each module.
Two views
A toggle in the top-right switches between two views:
- Operations — the default. A dense, role-aware console that adapts to what your job is.
- Summary — the stat-card overview (accounts, contacts, opportunities, projects, tasks, commercial status).
These are two different views of your work, not two skins of one view: each shows different information. Your choice is remembered on this device.
Role views (Operations)
The Visionary dashboard opens on the view that matches your role and job function, and you can switch between the views with the tabs across the top:
- Executive — company-wide revenue, pipeline health, win rate, and inbound. Available to owners, admins, and leadership job functions.
- Sales — your pipeline, win rate, and the leads waiting to be qualified.
- Delivery — projects, task throughput, and service SLA.
- My Work — your deals, tasks, and tickets for today.
Which view you land on is set by your job function (vertical role) and your access role. An admin sets or changes a member's job function on the Team settings page; for example, a "Project Coordinator" opens on Delivery, an "Account Executive" on Sales.
Reading the cards
- The Today / 7 days / 30 days tabs rescope every number on the page.
- The four stat cards at the top are click-through — selecting one opens the source module (opportunities, leads, service requests, tasks) in a new tab, filtered to match.
- Suggested next actions surfaces the AI-suggested actions from your inbox — open a row to act on it.
- Other cards (pipeline by stage, win rate, inbound funnel, service SLA, today's schedule) are read-outs of data that lives in the owning module.
- Today's Brief is assembled by the Assistant: missed calls, new leads, stale estimates, overdue tasks, and stuck jobs, with priority items linked. To dig into any of them, open the Assistant (⌘J) and ask.
Numbers are honest read-outs: each is scoped to what you're allowed to see, so two people may see different totals on the same card.
Appearance
The dashboard follows your Appearance settings — theme color, light/dark mode, density, and text size all apply here, the same as the rest of the app.
Tips
- The dashboard is the place to start the day. If a number looks off, the cause is usually in the source module (an opportunity in the wrong stage, a task without a status) — fix it there.
- Don't try to "manage" from the dashboard. It's a window, not a control panel. Edits happen on the module pages the cards link to.
- Not seeing the Executive view? It's limited to leadership roles — switch to Sales, Delivery, or My Work.
