Connect Gmail, Outlook, or SMTP — configure sync settings and your default sending account.

The email connectors page connects Vertiqa to the mailbox you actually send from. Without a connected account, the email composer can't send from your mailbox and inbound replies won't thread correctly.

What you can do here

  • Connect your account — Gmail or Outlook (send only), or generic IMAP/SMTP (send plus inbound sync).
  • Set the default sending account if you have more than one.
  • Configure sync — on IMAP/SMTP accounts: direction (read-only / two-way), sync window, thread settings.
  • IMAP/SMTP — for non-OAuth providers, configure server, port, and credentials.
  • Disconnect an account. Historical email stays on records; you just stop sending and syncing through it.

Tips

  • Gmail / Outlook accounts are send only — they don't sync your inbox into Vertiqa. To sync incoming email, connect the same mailbox with IMAP/SMTP (for Gmail, use a Google App Password).
  • A two-way sync brings your replies into Vertiqa automatically. If you see missing replies on a record, this is the first place to look.
  • Don't share an email account between multiple Vertiqa users. Each user should connect their own.
