Connect Vertiqa to ChatGPT or Claude

Add Vertiqa as a secure MCP connection, sign in with your Vertiqa account, and verify that CRM, project, and Conversion Page tools are available.

Vertiqa's MCP connection lets ChatGPT or Claude work with the same CRM, project, and Conversion Page information your Vertiqa account can access. Sign-in uses Vertiqa authentication; do not paste a password, API key, or access token into a chat.

Before you start

  • Use a Vertiqa account with access to the organization and records you need.
  • Ask your ChatGPT or Claude workspace owner to allow custom connections when your plan requires admin approval.
  • Add only the address above. Do not add an OAuth client ID or client secret; Vertiqa supplies its own secure sign-in flow.

ChatGPT

Custom MCP apps with full read and write actions currently require ChatGPT Business or Enterprise/Edu on the web. ChatGPT Pro can connect custom MCP apps with read/fetch access in developer mode.

  1. Have a workspace admin or owner enable custom MCP apps from Workspace settings > Permissions & Roles > Connected Data.
  2. Turn on developer mode for your account. Depending on the workspace, this is under Settings > Apps > Advanced Settings or offered while creating the app.
  3. Open Settings > Apps > Create, or Workspace settings > Apps > Create.
  4. Name the app Vertiqa, paste the MCP address above, and choose OAuth when asked for authentication.
  5. Select Scan Tools. Sign in to Vertiqa in the window that opens and allow the requested access.
  6. Wait for the tool scan to finish, then select Create. Workspace admins can test the draft and publish it from Workspace settings > Apps > Drafts.
  7. In a new chat, select Vertiqa from the tools/apps menu or mention Vertiqa in the prompt. Mention it again when a follow-up needs fresh data or another action.

ChatGPT keeps an approved snapshot of an MCP app's tools. After Vertiqa adds or changes tools, an Enterprise/Edu admin must Refresh its actions and approve the update. ChatGPT Business may require the app to be recreated and published again.

Claude

Pro or Max

  1. Open Customize > Connectors.
  2. Select +, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Vertiqa, paste the MCP address above, and select Add. Leave advanced OAuth client fields empty.
  4. Select Connect, sign in to Vertiqa, and allow access.
  5. In a conversation, select + > Connectors and enable Vertiqa.

Team or Enterprise

  1. An Owner opens Organization settings > Connectors.
  2. Select Add, hover over Custom, choose Web, and paste the MCP address above. Leave advanced OAuth client fields empty, then select Add.
  3. Each member opens Customize > Connectors, finds Vertiqa, selects Connect, and signs in.
  4. In a conversation, select + > Connectors and enable Vertiqa.

Claude custom connectors cannot currently be edited in place. To change the address, remove the connection and add it again.

Verify the connection

Start with a read-only prompt:

Using Vertiqa, list my organizations and tell me which one you will use. Then
tell me how many conversion pages I have. Do not change anything.

If you belong to more than one Vertiqa organization, the assistant should ask which one to use. If it does not show Vertiqa's current tools after an update, refresh or recreate the connection as described above.
