WhatsApp integration

Connect WhatsApp so messages from contacts land on the activity timeline.

The WhatsApp settings page is where you connect your WhatsApp Business number to Vertiqa. Once connected, inbound and outbound WhatsApp messages appear on contact activity timelines and you can reply from the in-app composer.

What you can configure

  • Connection status — connect, disconnect, or reauthorize the WhatsApp Business account.
  • Phone number — the number contacts message.
  • Routing rules — which inbound numbers route to which user or team.
  • Templates — approved message templates available in the composer.

Tips

  • Use approved templates for outbound the contact hasn't initiated. Free-form messages are only valid within the customer service window.
  • If WhatsApp suddenly stops working, the most common cause is an expired or revoked authorization. Reauthorize from this page.
