Edit a contact

Maintain a contact's profile, link them to an account, and reach them through email, call, or messaging.

The contact detail page is the operator's home for one person. It carries everything we know about them and every channel we have to reach them.

Tabs on the page

  • Overview — name, role, email, phone, account link.
  • Activity — full timeline: emails, calls, WhatsApp, SMS, notes.
  • Files — documents shared with or about this contact.
  • Voice Calls — recorded calls and transcripts (where available).

Common tasks

  1. Update profile fields. Edit in place on Overview and save.
  2. Link to a different account. If the contact moved companies, update the account link rather than creating a duplicate contact.
  3. Send a message. Use the email, call, WhatsApp, or SMS composer. The conversation lands on the Activity tab and on the linked account.
  4. Pin important notes. Notes you pin appear at the top of the timeline so the next teammate sees them first.

Tip

If a contact replies from a different email address, link the new address on the contact rather than creating a new contact. That keeps their activity history together.
