The calendar settings page connects Vertiqa to your calendar provider so meetings created in Vertiqa land on your real calendar — and so booking links don't offer slots when you're already busy.
What you can configure
- Connection — link your provider (Google, Microsoft) via OAuth.
- Sync direction — read-only (Vertiqa just sees your calendar) or two-way (Vertiqa creates events on it).
- Default calendar — which calendar gets new Vertiqa meetings.
- Conflict checks — whether booking links honor non-Vertiqa events on your calendar (recommended: yes).
Tips
- Connect the calendar you actually use. A connected calendar that isn't your primary creates phantom availability.
- Two-way sync is what makes booking links trustworthy. If you're finding Vertiqa offers slots that conflict with non-Vertiqa events, either two-way isn't enabled or the provider isn't returning free/busy correctly.
