Read a pipeline-weighted revenue projection by close-date period and owner.
The forecast page turns your open opportunities into a pipeline-weighted revenue projection, grouped by close-date period and by owner. It's a read-only view — nothing here changes a deal; it reflects what's already on your pipeline. You need permission to view opportunities to open it.
The summary tiles
Across the top, five tiles roll up the window you're looking at:
- Pipeline — the raw total value of open opportunities.
- Best case — the optimistic total.
- Weighted — pipeline value adjusted by each deal's probability. This is the number most teams forecast against.
- Commit — what's being committed for the period.
- Won — value already closed-won in the window.
The breakdown
Below the tiles, opportunities are grouped into one card per period (a month or a quarter). Each card shows the period's sub-totals and then a per-owner table with columns for Pipeline, Weighted, Commit, Best case, Won, and the opportunity count. Use it to see who's carrying the number and where the gaps are.
If nothing falls in the window, you'll see "No opportunities with close dates in this window" — usually a sign that close dates are missing or far out.
Controls
- Month / Quarter — choose how periods are grouped.
- Window — how far ahead to look ("Next N months/quarters").
Notes
- The forecast is only as good as your close dates and probabilities. Deals with no close date don't land in any period — keep dates current on the opportunities pipeline.
- This is a v1 read-only view. Setting quotas and tuning the commit vs. best-case scoring isn't available here yet.
