The opportunity detail page is where you actually run a deal: maintain its fields, capture what happened, and move it through your stages.
Tabs on the page
- Overview — deal name, value, dates, key metrics, linked account and contact.
- Timeline — integrated activity feed: calls, emails, WhatsApp, SMS, notes, and stage changes.
- Files — proposals, contracts, and supporting documents.
- Notes — pinned and unpinned notes for context that doesn't belong on the timeline.
Common tasks
- Update deal fields — value, expected close date, owner, anything downstream forecasting depends on.
- Advance the stage — drag on the kanban, or move from the opportunity page itself.
- Reach out — use the email, call, WhatsApp, or SMS composer. Touches land on the timeline.
- Attach documents — upload to Files so the proposal or contract travels with the opportunity.
- Pin a note — pinned notes appear first so the next teammate sees them immediately.
Tip
If an opportunity goes quiet for more than a stage's worth of time, either re-engage with a clear next step or move it to closed-lost. Stale opportunities pollute forecasts.
